2 SPEED FAN: Integrated into the dash and helps to circulate air within the cab.       
2 speed fan kit consists of a 12V blower that operates at two different speeds. The blower forces cab air through two adjustable dash vents mounted at the center of the dash. This extra air movement can be used to keep the occupants more comfortable and in some applications help defog the windshield. This add on option has better air flow than the blower used for the heating system due to them having restricted air flow by the electric elements. The fuel heater option has no cab air movement unless the heater is on. This option can not be combined with the air conditioning option.

DC HEATER: All vehicles come standard with this DC heater unless another heating option is ordered. Unit is ducted to the four standard closable bi-directional air vents. Two windshield defrost vents and two lower cab vents. The heating element is DC powered used to heat the cab during normal driving operation of the vehicle. The DC heater provides 1500 watts of heating power. Heating element is a solid state PTC self regulating unit. Blower operates at three speeds. Blower can operate with heating element on or off. Operation of DC heater reduces overall range by 25%. Best used in ambient temps of -7 degree C or above. For ultimate heating performance in colder climate applications we would recommend our fuel fired heater option.

AIR CONDITIONER: This option has a combination of a heating element and air conditioner ducted together to the four standard closable bi-directional air vents. Two windshield defrost vents and two lower cab vents. Plus two extra center dash vents providing added cab air movement. The heating element is DC powered used to heat the cab during normal driving operation of the vehicle. The DC heating works the same as the standard DC heater providing 1500 watts of heating power. Heating element is a solid state PTC self regulating unit. Blower operates at two speeds. Blower can operate with heating element on or off. Operation of DC heater reduces overall range by 25%. Best used in ambient temps of -7 degree C or above. For ultimate heating performance in colder climate applications we would recommend our fuel fired heater option but note that the fuel heater is not available with air conditioning. The air conditioner is DC powered used to cool the cab during normal driving operation of the vehicle. R-134 refrigerant. Blower operates at three speeds. Blower can operate with air conditioner on or off. Operation of air conditioner reduces overall range by 25%. System is designed with comfort in mind but trying not to sacrifice range. This option can not be combined with aux. fan or fuel fired heater.

FUEL FIRED HEATER: The fuel fired heating system is by far the best cold climate heating system for your e-ride vehicle. These units are extremely efficient self regulating units. They provide up to 13K BTU of heating. Vehicle doesn't suffer from any range reduction. Fuel tank holds 2 gallons. Fuel consumption can vary between .048 - .143 gal/hr. So the 2 gallon tank provides 14 - 41 hours of continuous operation. Available 7 day timer so you can setup the heater to automatically turn on at specific times. Unit is ducted to the four standard bi-directional air vents. Two windshield defrost vents and two larger lower cab vents. Due to the nature of this heater the passengers side lower cab vent is unable to be closed. Unit emits carbon dioxide and can not be used indoors. Fuel heater can not be combined with air conditioning.

AC/DC HEATER: This option has a combination of two blowers and heating elements both ducted together to the four standard closable bi-directional air vents. Two windshield defrost vents and two lower cab vents. One element is DC powered used to heat the cab during normal driving operation of the vehicle. The DC heating works the same as the standard DC heater providing 1500 watts of heating power. Heating element is a solid state PTC self regulating unit. Blower operates at three speeds. Blower can operate with heating element on or off. Operation of DC heater reduces overall range by 25%. Best used in ambient temps of -7 degree C or above. For ultimate heating performance in colder climate applications we would recommend our fuel fired heater option. The second element is AC powered used to pre-heat the cab/defrost the windshield just before the normal driving operation takes place. Provides 1500 watts of heating power. Heating element is a solid state PTC self regulating unit. Blower operates at one speed. This heater operates off the power cord being used to re-charge the vehicle. System is setup in a way so that never at anytime will it exceed the maximum input power rating.

SEAT HEATER: The seat heater is a 30 watt heating mat placed in the stock seats. Seat heater can be placed on the base and/or backrest of the seat. Also seat heater can be in just the drivers and/or passengers seats. Switch placed in dash selects if the heaters or on/off.

DC DRIVE SYSTEM: DC Drive System is our standard drive system. This system includes a 400 amp DC drive separately excited speed controller and a brushed, fan cooled, DC drive motor. This system is a very economical PERFORMANCE- The DC drive system enables the vehicle to maintain top speed of 40 KPH on flatter terrains. For example while climbing steeper grade hills or with a fully loaded vehicle (GVW 3000 lbs) this drive system will not be able to achieve/maintain the top speed of 40 KPH. Some reduction in the top speed will be seen. In most applications at least 29 KPH is able to be maintained. Max acceleration is from 0-40 KPH is about 20 seconds. This system will get the job done at a competitive price point. For better hill climbing and faster acceleration see our AC drive option.

AC DRIVE SYSTEM: AC Drive System is an upgrade from the standard DC drive system. This option includes a 550 amp AC drive fully sealed speed controller and a 3 phase, brushless, fan cooled, AC drive motor. PERFORMANCE- Motor can develop a max of 100 ft. lbs of torque and 35 HP. Continuous operational torque of 27 ft. lbs and 20 HP at 40 KPH (4375 RPM). The drive system enables the vehicle to maintain top speed of 40 KPH on heavier loads and/or higher grade hills. For example while climbing an 8% grade hill with a fully loaded vehicle (GVW 3000 lbs) equipped with this drive system will be able to achieve the top speed of 40 KPH. Higher grades than 8% you could see some reduction in the top speed. Max acceleration is from 0-40 KPH is about 7 seconds. All this while only adding 30 lbs to the weight of the vehicle. REGEN BRAKING- Brake regen is added with this option as well. So when the brake pedal is pressed the vehicle will switch from its regular coast regen into a brake regen mode increasing the amount of regen which also lowers amount of braking force needed by the operator to stop the vehicle. OVERALL RANGE- The AC drive system can achieve the same max range as the DC drive system. But the AC drive system has the ability to develop a lot more power which as a result will lower the overall range when used in conditions such as faster acceleration and hill climbing.

ELECTRONIC IGNITION KEY PAD: Electronic ignition key pad Replaces the regular ignition switch. Requires 4 digit code to turn vehicle on. Can program a supervisor code.

INSULATED CAB: To help retain the heat or cold inside the cab of the vehicle we offer the option of an insulated cab. On an EXV2 model the insulation is placed behind the standard plastic interior panels.

FLOODED LEAD ACID BATTERY WARMER: This added option warms the entire battery pack up to 27 degrees Celsius when plugged in. Flooded lead acid batteries have lower capacity as there temperature drops below the optimal operating temp of 27 degrees Celsius. In temperatures below freezing, range becomes noticeable reduced. At continual battery operating temps of -18 degrees Celsius you can experience range being cut in half. This warmer will help keep the batteries at a higher temperature minimizing the range reduction. The warmer is a durable flexible silicone heating element that is placed under the entire flooded lead acid battery pack. Warmer operates off 120 VAC, 4 amps, 500 watts. Vehicle equipped with this will have a second inlet receptacle. When its plugged in, the warmer is self regulating warming the batteries from 16-27 degrees Celsius.
